For the opening of her first boutique, Laura entrusted French Indies Design with the challenge of transforming a simple commercial space into a “jewel-box of a boutique” to present exclusive ready-to-wear collections for women in St. Barth. 

Starting with a blank slate, Karine Bruneel worked with Laura Insausti Ustarroz to discover her dreams and her passions, so that in the same quest for coziness and contemporaneousness, they would share a common challenge.The goal was to design a boutique that reflected the contours of Laura’s eclectic personality. 

Passionate about fashion, gifted with a strong sense of design, a penchant for noble materials, and a sensibility for color. Metal and wood provide the structure for the space, where color pulls the elements together, and the furniture captures the light as well as the eye.
